وَأَمَّا عَادٌ فَأُهْلِكُوا بِرِيحٍ صَرْصَرٍ عَاتِيَةٍ

Waamma AAadun faohlikoo bireehin sarsarin AAatiyatin ⁽⁶⁾

Tafsir

"وأما عاد فأهلكوا بريح صرصر عاتية"، عتت على خزانها فلم تطعهم ولم يكن لهم عليها سبيل، وجاوزت المقدار فلم يعرفوا كم خرج منها.

As for the ‘Ād, Allah destroyed them with a severely cold, relentless wind that reached the height of harshness upon them.
