وَأُلْقِيَ السَّحَرَةُ سَاجِدِينَ

Waolqiya alssaharatu sajideena ⁽¹²⁰⁾

Tafsir

( وألقي السحرة ساجدين ) لله تعالى . قال مقاتل : ألقاهم الله . وقيل : ألهمهم الله أن يسجدوا فسجدوا . وقال الأخفش : من سرعة ما سجدوا كأنهم ألقوا .

When the magicians saw the greatness of the power of Allah, and his clear signs, they could only fall down, prostrating to Him.
