قَالَ أَنْظِرْنِي إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ
Qala anthirnee ila yawmi yubAAathoona (14)
( قال ) إبليس عند ذلك ، ( أنظرني ) أخرني وأمهلني فلا تمتني ، ( إلى يوم يبعثون ) من قبورهم وهو النفخة الأخيرة عند قيام الساعة ، أراد الخبيث أن لا يذوق الموت .
Satan asked Allah: 'O my Lord, give me relief until the Day of Rising, so that I could tempt and misguide whomever of the children of Adam I am able to tempt.'
