فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ كَذَّبَ بِآيَاتِهِ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ يَنَالُهُمْ نَصِيبُهُمْ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ ۖ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا جَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُنَا يَتَوَفَّوْنَهُمْ قَالُوا أَيْنَ مَا كُنْتُمْ تَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ ۖ قَالُوا ضَلُّوا عَنَّا وَشَهِدُوا عَلَىٰ أَنْفُسِهِمْ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا كَافِرِينَ
Faman athlamu mimmani iftara AAala Allahi kathiban aw kaththaba biayatihi olaika yanaluhum naseebuhum mina alkitabi hatta itha jaathum rusuluna yatawaffawnahum qaloo ayna ma kuntum tadAAoona min dooni Allahi qaloo dalloo AAanna washahidoo AAala anfusihim annahum kanoo kafireena (37)
قوله تعالى : ( فمن أظلم ممن افترى على الله كذبا ) جعل له شريكا ، ( أو كذب بآياته ) بالقرآن ، ( أولئك ينالهم نصيبهم من الكتاب ) أي : حظهم مما كتب لهم في اللوح المحفوظ . واختلفوا فيه ، قال الحسن والسدي : ما كتب لهم من العذاب وقضى عليهم من سواد الوجوه وزرقة العيون . قال عطية عن ابن عباس : كتب لمن يفتري على الله أن وجهه مسود ، قال الله تعالى : " ويوم القيامة ترى الذين كذبوا على الله وجوههم مسودة " ( الزمر ، 60 ) .
وقال سعيد بن جبير ومجاهد : ما سبق لهم من الشقاوة والسعادة .
وقال ابن عباس وقتادة والضحاك : يعني أعمالهم التي عملوها وكتب عليهم من خير وشر يجزي عليها .
وقال محمد بن كعب القرظي : ما كتب لهم من الأرزاق والآجال والأعمال فإذا فنيت ، ( جاءتهم رسلنا يتوفونهم ) يقبضون أرواحهم يعني ملك الموت وأعوانه ، ( قالوا ) يعني يقول الرسل للكافر ، ( أين ما كنتم تدعون ) تعبدون ، ( من دون الله ) سؤال تبكيت وتقريع ، ( قالوا ضلوا عنا ) بطلوا وذهبوا عنا ، ( وشهدوا على أنفسهم ) اعترفوا عند معاينة الموت ، ( أنهم كانوا كافرين ) .
The greatest wrongdoer is the person who: invents a lie about Allah, considering Him to have a partner; or says He is deficient in some way; or says something about Him that He has not said; or rejects His clear signs and verses which guide to the correct way of life. Those who do such things will receive the portion of worldly pleasure that is destined for them in the Preserved Tablet, until the angel of death and his helpers come to them to take their souls, and they are asked: 'Where are the gods you used to worship besides Allah, claiming they would help you? Call on those idols if they can benefit you! The idolaters will say to the angels: 'The gods we used to worship have gone, and that we do not know where they are!' Then they will admit that they were disbelievers, but their admission at that time will be a proof against them and will not benefit them.
