وَذَرْنِي وَالْمُكَذِّبِينَ أُولِي النَّعْمَةِ وَمَهِّلْهُمْ قَلِيلًا
Watharnee waalmukaththibeena olee alnnaAAmati wamahhilhum qaleelan (11)
"وذرني والمكذبين أولي النعمة ومهلهم قليلاً"، نزلت في صناديد قريش المستهزئين. وقال مقاتل بن حيان: نزلت في المطعمين ببدر ولم يكن إلا يسر حتى قتلوا ببدر.
Do not be concerned about the state of those who deny, those who enjoy the pleasures of the world. Leave them to Me and wait a little for them until their appointed time comes.
