74 Al-Muddaththir(المدثر), Ayah 15

ثُمَّ يَطْمَعُ أَنْ أَزِيدَ

Thumma yatmaAAu an azeeda ⁽¹⁵⁾

Tafsir

"ثم يطمع"، يرجو، "أن أزيد"، أي أن أزيده مالاً وولداً، وتمهيداً.

Then despite his denial of Me he desires that I give him more after I gave him all of that.
