ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ إِلَىٰ أَهْلِهِ يَتَمَطَّىٰ

Thumma thahaba ila ahlihi yatamatta ⁽³³⁾

Tafsir

"ثم ذهب إلى أهله"، رجع إليهم، "يتمطى"، يتبختر ويختال في مشيته، وقيل: أصله: يتمطط أي: يتمدد، والمط هو المد.

Then this disbeliever went to his family swaggering in his gait out of pride.
