نَحْنُ خَلَقْنَاهُمْ وَشَدَدْنَا أَسْرَهُمْ ۖ وَإِذَا شِئْنَا بَدَّلْنَا أَمْثَالَهُمْ تَبْدِيلًا
Nahnu khalaqnahum washadadna asrahum waitha shina baddalna amthalahum tabdeelan (28)
"نحن خلقناهم وشددنا"، قوينا وأحكمنا "أسرهم"، قال مجاهد وقتادة ومقاتل: "أسرهم" أي: خلقهم، يقال: رجل حسن الأسر، أي: الخلق. وقال الحسن: يعني أوصالهم بعضها إلى بعض بالعروق والعصب.
وروي عن مجاهد في تفسير الأسر قال: الشرج، يعني: موضع مصرفي البول والغائط، إذا خرج الأذى تقبضا. "وإذا شئنا بدلنا أمثالهم تبديلاً"، أي: إذا شئنا أهلكناهم وأتينا بأشباههم فجعلناهم بدلاً منهم.
