إِنَّمَا نُطْعِمُكُمْ لِوَجْهِ اللَّهِ لَا نُرِيدُ مِنْكُمْ جَزَاءً وَلَا شُكُورًا
Innama nutAAimukum liwajhi Allahi la nureedu minkum jazaan wala shukooran (9)
"إنما نطعمكم لوجه الله لا نريد منكم جزاءً ولا شكوراً"، والشكور مصدر كالعقود والدخول والخروج. قال مجاهد وسعيد بن جبير: إنهم لم يتكلموا به ولكن علم الله ذلك من قلوبهم، فأثنى عليهم.
They conceal within themselves that they only feed them for the pleasure of Allah; not intending to receive any recompense from those whom they have fed, nor any praise.
