Wahuwa alghafooru alwadoodu (14)
"وهو الغفور"، لذنوب المؤمنين، "الودود"، المحب لهم، وقيل: معناه المودود، كالحلوب والركوب، بمعنى المحلوب والمركوب. وقيل: يغفر ويود أن يغفر، وقيل: المتودد إلى أوليائه بالمغفرة.
