قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَنْ زَكَّاهَا

Qad aflaha man zakkaha ⁽⁹⁾

Tafsir

"قد أفلح من زكاها"، وهذا موضع القسم، أي فازت وسعدت نفس زكاها الله، أي أصلحها وطهرها من الذنوب ووفقها للطاعة.

Verily, the one who has purified his soul by adorning it with virtuous characteristics and freeing it from evil traits, has succeeded.
