أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ اشْتَرَوُا الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا بِالْآخِرَةِ ۖ فَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَلَا هُمْ يُنْصَرُونَ 86
Transliteration:
Olaika allatheena ishtarawoo alhayata alddunya bialakhirati fala yukhaffafu AAanhumu alAAathabu wala hum yunsaroona Al-Baqarah 2:86 ⧉
Tafsir:

{أولئك الذين اشتروا} استبدلوا.

{الحياة الدنيا بالآخرة فلا يخفف} يهون.

{عنهم العذاب ولا هم ينصرون} يمنعون من عذاب الله عز وجل .

They are the people who exchange the Afterlife for this life, preferring what is temporary to what is eternal. Their suffering will not be lightened, and they will have no one to help them.
