Al-Anbiya • Ayah 73 of 112 • Transliteration


وَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ أَئِمَّةً يَهْدُونَ بِأَمْرِنَا وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْهِمْ فِعْلَ الْخَيْرَاتِ وَإِقَامَ الصَّلَاةِ وَإِيتَاءَ الزَّكَاةِ ۖ وَكَانُوا لَنَا عَابِدِينَ 73
Transliteration:
WajaAAalnahum aimmatan yahdoona biamrina waawhayna ilayhim fiAAla alkhayrati waiqama alssalati waeetaa alzzakati wakanoo lana AAabideena Al-Anbiya 21:73 ⧉
Tafsir:

( وجعلناهم أئمة ) يقتدى بهم في الخير ( يهدون بأمرنا ) يدعون الناس إلى ديننا ( وأوحينا إليهم فعل الخيرات ) العمل بالشرائع ( وإقام الصلاة ) يعني المحافظة عليها ، ( وإيتاء الزكاة ) إعطاءها ( وكانوا لنا عابدين ) موحدين

I made them into leaders whom the people followed in goodness.With His permission, they would call to the worship of Allah alone. I also revealed to them that they should do good deeds, perform prayer with perfection and give Zakat. They were obedient to Me.
