( قل من بيده ملكوت كل شيء ) الملكوت الملك ، والتاء فيه للمبالغة ، ( وهو يجير ) أي : يؤمن من يشاء ( ولا يجار عليه ) أي : لا يؤمن من أخافه الله ، أو يمنع هو من السوء من يشاء ، ولا يمنع منه من أراده بسوء ، ( إن كنتم تعلمون ) قيل : معناه أجيبوا إن كنتم تعلمون .
Say to them: “Who is the One in whose hand is the realm of everything, with nothing escaping His realm, Who helps whom He wants from His servants, with nobody being able to protect whom He intends bad for so as to remove punishment from Him, if you have any knowledge?”
