An-Naml • Ayah 57 of 93 • Transliteration


فَأَنْجَيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ إِلَّا امْرَأَتَهُ قَدَّرْنَاهَا مِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ 57
Transliteration:
Faanjaynahu waahlahu illa imraatahu qaddarnaha mina alghabireena An-Naml 27:57 ⧉
Tafsir:

( فأنجيناه وأهله إلا امرأته قدرناها ) قضينا عليها وجعلناها بتقديرنا ، ( من الغابرين ) أي : الباقين في العذاب .

So we saved him and his family, except for his wife, who was decreed to be from those who remained behind for the punishment, so she may be from those who were destroyed.
