( لقد وعدنا هذا ) أي : هذا البعث ، ( نحن وآباؤنا من قبل ) أي : من قبل محمد ، وليس ذلك بشيء ( إن هذا ) ما هذا ، ( إلا أساطير الأولين ) أحاديثهم وأكاذيبهم التي كتبوها .
