( يا أيها الناس إن وعد الله حق ) يعني وعد يوم القيامة ( فلا تغرنكم الحياة الدنيا ولا يغرنكم بالله الغرور ) وهو الشيطان .
O people, the resurrection and recompense on the day of judgment which Allah has promised you are true without a doubt, so the pleasures of the worldly life and its desires should not deceive you from preparing for this day through good actions, nor should the Satan deceive you by his adornment of falsehood and by inciting you to incline towards the worldly life.
