فَهُمْ عَلَىٰ آثَارِهِمْ يُهْرَعُونَ

Transliteration:

Fahum AAala atharihim yuhraAAoona As-Saffat 37:70 ^⧉

Tafsir:

( فهم على آثارهم يهرعون ) يسرعون ، قال الكلبي : يعملون مثل أعمالهم .

So they hastily followed the footsteps of their forefathers in deviance, as if they were harassed and forced into doing so.
