An-Najm • Ayah 29 of 62 • Transliteration


فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْ مَنْ تَوَلَّىٰ عَنْ ذِكْرِنَا وَلَمْ يُرِدْ إِلَّا الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا 29
Transliteration:
FaaAArid AAan man tawalla AAan thikrina walam yurid illa alhayata alddunya An-Najm 53:29 ⧉
Tafsir:

" فأعرض عن من تولى عن ذكرنا "، يعني القرآن. وقيل: الإيمان، " ولم يرد إلا الحياة الدنيا ".

So, O Messenger, ignore those who turn away from Allah’s remembrance without showing any concern for it, and who want only the life of this world and therefore do not work for their Hereafter because they do not believe in it.
