ثُمَّ أَدْبَرَ وَاسْتَكْبَرَ

Transliteration:

Thumma adbara waistakbara Al-Muddaththir 74:23 ^⧉

Tafsir:

"ثم أدبر"، عن الإيمان، "واستكبر"، تكبر حين دعي إليه.

Then he turned away from faith and was too proud to follow the Prophet (peace be upon him).
