Surah Al-Kawthar (Abundance) — سُورَةُ الكوثر
Also known as:
al-Naḥr (The Sacrifice)
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
iIn the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ i
Indeed, We have granted you, [O Muhammad], al-Kawthar. (1)
فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ i
So pray to your Lord and sacrifice [to Him alone]. (2)
إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْأَبْتَرُ i
Indeed, your enemy is the one cut off. (3)
