Surah Al-Asr (The Declining Day) سُورَة العصر

Translation: Surah Al-Asr (The Declining Day) سُورَة العصر

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

i

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

وَالْعَصْرِ ١ i

By (the Token of) Time (through the ages), (1)

إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ ٢ i

Verily Man is in loss, (2)

إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ ٣ i

Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy. (3)
