Surah Al-Falaq (The Daybreak) سُورَة الفلق

Surah Al-Falaq is the 113th chapter of the Quran, consisting of 5 verses. It is a prayer for seeking refuge in Allah from evil and harm. Below are the verses of this Surah.

Also known as: Qul Aʿūdhu bi-Rabbi al-Falaq (Say: I Seek Refuge in the Lord of Daybreak), al-Muʿawidhatayn (with Sūrat al-Nās), al-Muqashqishatān (with Sūrat al-Nās)

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ ۞

i

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

وَمِنْ شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ ٤ i

113:4

From the mischief of those who practise secret arts; (4)

وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ ٥ i

113:5

And from the mischief of the envious one as he practises envy. (5)
