Surah An-Nas (The People) سُورَة الناس

Surah An-Nas is the 114th chapter of the Quran, consisting of 6 verses. It is a prayer for protection from evil and harm, seeking refuge in Allah from all dangers. Below are the verses of this Surah.

Surah An-Nas (Mankind) — سُورَةُ الناس

Also known as: Qul Aʿūdhu bi-Rabbi al-Nās (Say: I Seek Refuge in the Lord of Mankind), al-Muʿawidhatayn (with Sūrat al-Falaq), al-Muqashqishatān (with Sūrat al-Falaq)

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ ۞

i

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ ١ i

114:1

Say: I seek refuge with the Lord and Cherisher of Mankind, (1)

مِنْ شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ ٤ i

114:4

From the mischief of the Whisperer (of Evil), who withdraws (after his whisper),- (4)

الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ ٥ i

114:5

(The same) who whispers into the hearts of Mankind,- (5)
